Các cụm từ hay từ informal nên tránh

Các cụm từ hay từ informal nên tránh khi viết bài writing task 2 hoặc khi speaking mà các sĩ tử cần chú ý. Nào các sĩ tử cùng xem bài bên dưới nhé.

1. “a lot of” thay bằng “a number of”. Ví dụ: A lot of people are working in the fast food industry = a number of people are working in the fast food industry.
2. “get” = thay từ hợp ngữ cảnh. Ví dụ: “to get a job” ~ “to find a job”, “to get worse = to deteriorate”, v.v…
3. “more and more” = thay bằng cụm từ khác hợp ngữ cảnh. Ví dụ: The job market has become more and more competitive = the job market has become increasingly competitive.
4. “say, think” = “believe”. Ví dụ: I think that the climate is now better than before = I believe that the climate is now better than before.
